Washed ashore on the strangely beautiful and uncharted Isle of the Mists, somewhere in the Vilayet sea, you find yourself crawling from the foaming sea to the lush jungles.  Enter the mysterious world of R.E. Howards Hyborean Age.

The Isle of the Mists is a low-fantasy game modeled after traditional Pen and Paper RPGs.  It is based on the short stories "Iron Shadows in the Moon" and the "Devil in Iron". 

As a stranded Hyborean you are left with no obvious means to escape the island.  You are surprised to find a small civilization here. Pirates, peasants, and even a noble Aquilonian family have established a settlement on the moldering and crumbling ruins of a much older, much darker place. 

But all is not as tranquil as it seems. Beneath the beauty of the rich jungles, something stirs. And why do the Aquilonian nobles cling to their strange mountain palace?  What strange writings are carved in the stones of forgotten ruins? What alien presence seems to watch you from the brooding trees?  You must venture forward to find the answers.
