The RPS, or BNJRPS, is a dynamic and full-featured role-play system built for use within the virtual world of Second Life^®. Using this system, Second Life role-players have been able to create a variety of exciting, vibrant environments currently enjoyed by 3152 members!

The virtual world of Second Life, created by Linden Lab^®, is a unique platform that provides users with all the tools they need to build their own 3-dimensional, virtual space. All content is 100% community-built, resulting in an amazing expanse of creativity, entertainment, and even serious business-use. Because the Second Life world is so open and full of possibility, it offers unique role-play capabilities that cannot be duplicated by any other available platform (MMO, Chatroom, Pen-and-Paper, or LARP). The RPS has taken those unique capabilities and expanded upon them, creating the most robust and complete role-play system in the virtual world.

The RPS itself is a character sheet, combat system, and skill system for what we refer to as SLiRP (Second Life interactive Role-Play). SLiRP is completely unique, in that it is a massively-multiplayer-online experience built and run completely by the players. There are many exciting, player-built environments to role-play in (many of them listed here), as well as an unlimited variety of clothing, weapons, and accessories with which you can equip your avatar. In a complete departure from the standard MMO you will find that everyone you interact with is a real person--never an NPC or MOB. If you find yourself fighting a kobold (in a medieval setting) or a malfunctioning droid (in a SciFi setting), you can bet that there's a real person behind that creature--and that's a lot better than having to rely on a game AI for entertainment.
